Our story
Ten years looking at windows. Now replacing them.
I was born and raised in Russell, and spent ten years running a window cleaning business across this area. That is a decade up close with windows in local homes, in every condition you can think of.
You learn things that way. Which units hold up through our winters and which ones fog between the panes, stick in the frame, or rot out from the sill. I have cleaned a lot of windows that should have been replaced years earlier, and told the owners so.
OpenPane is newly established, and I am straight with people about that. Every job we take on right now sets our reputation, so it gets quoted carefully and finished properly. We are a small team and we intend to stay one you can get hold of, rather than a call centre.

Who does the work

Depending on the job, installs are done by our own crew or by an installer we subcontract. We tell you which at the quote. Either way the walkthrough is done by us, and the twenty year workmanship warranty is ours rather than theirs.

- Show you the problem. If we find rot once the old unit is out, we stop and show you before we touch it.
